PE Intern (Hamburg)

Interns will fully participate in projects, work closely with the team on conducting due diligence processes, help with deal valuation/execution and be involved in the work with portfolio companies.

Job description

  • Analyze and evaluate different business models, market structures and industry trends and be an active part of interviews with industry experts

  • Perform analyses, including valuation and financial modeling for prospective deals

  • Prepare presentation materials

  • Support the investment team in their work with our portfolio companies

  • Provide overall support to investment team

Job requirements

  • Outstanding academic performance (preferably with a background in business, finance or economics), excellent analytical skills and intellectual curiosity

  • Experience in investment banking, strategy consulting or private equity from previous internships

  • Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Highly motivated, proven ability to assume responsibility and a desire to work in a team environment

  • Language skills: German (native), English (fluent)
